I was very specific looking for this gown. I bought it in the navy color because I wanted to be sure it wasn't see through. I live in Singapore where it's very hot and humid year round. It's common for me to have to take 2 showers a day. So, in the evenings it's nice to put this lightweight sleeveless gown on to help stay cool. I love the length and because of the way it's gathered around the bustline, it's loose fitting and not obvious you don't have a bra on. I'll definitely be getting another one or two of these down the road.

This is a very soft, lightweight gown that travels beautifully. It is easy to pack into very little space. It is well-made and still looks new after many washings. I've not had the problem with static electricity that I've had in the past with synthetics, nor does it make me sleep too warm. The lighter colors are semi-see-through. If you need modesty, go for the dark colors which are opaque.

Purchased this item for my Mom. She is 70 years old and a die hard Vanity Fair Nightgown wearer. She use to get these in the PA outlet malls but they closed down. She then discovered the nightgowns in Kohls +/or Macys. But in recent years she noticed a decline in stock to almost completely gone.
She said the Nightgown was perfect. Soft, just the right length and just like her old ones from years ago. A little pricey but she says they last a long time.

I live in rural Wisconsin and don't remember where I had originally purchased my favorite 'nighty' and when the time came to replace it I knew I wanted the exact same style. I looked for several months at local department and discount department stores and couldn't find it anywhere. One day while browsing Amazon I did a couple queries and WAH-LA - there it was!! Found easily, reasonably priced, shipped fast!! Many thanks to Amazon and Bealls!!
